If you're in the heart of wine-country, but your preference is for beer - never fear! All of these breweries offer paddles, so you can sample the best craft beer the Hunter has to offer.
Ironbark Hill Brewery is a family-owned and operated brewery that has been brewing exceptional craft beers since 2016. The brewery is known for its innovative approach to brewing, combining traditional brewing techniques with modern twists to create unique and flavorful beers.
Situated among the rolling vineyards of the Hunter Valley, the brewery offers breathtaking views and a relaxed atmosphere for visitors to enjoy while sipping on their delicious brews. Ironbark Hill Brewery's range of beers includes a variety of styles, from refreshing lagers to bold IPAs and stouts, ensuring there is something for every beer lover's palate.
The venue is open 6 days a week (closed Tuesdays). 10am - 5pm, and until 9pm on Friday.
There are also delicious gourmet pizzas available at this venue.

4 Pines at The Farm is known for its award-winning beers that are brewed with passion and creativity. From hoppy IPAs to refreshing lagers and everything in between, 4 Pines offers a wide range of beers that cater to different tastes. The brewery also places a strong emphasis on using locally-sourced, seasonal ingredients in its beers and food menu, creating a truly farm-to-glass experience.
4 Pines at The Farm has a new 600 square metre tap room, bistro and cellar door. There are 12 taps on offer, or wines, if there are any in your party who prefer that.
The venue has 360 degree panoramic views of the picturesque Hunter Valley and vineyards.
4 Pines is open from 7.30am to 8pm.
Located right in the middle of the 'magic mile' on Broke Road Pokolbin, Hope Estate Brewery is a destination brewery that offers a unique blend of craft beer, wine, and live music. The brewery is part of the larger Hope Estate, which is known for its vineyards, concerts, and events.

They offer a wide range of beers (around 30 on tap), from classic styles to more adventurous and experimental brews that push the boundaries of traditional beer flavors. Special note for our guests - we're reliably informed that Hope Beers are excellent, however, their wine is... let's say we would point you to other cellar doors if you're looking for the best examples of Hunter Valley wine.
It's open 7 days 10-5pm. It will not be open to non-ticket holders on concert days. Bookings are recommended at this venue.
A paddle of 4 beers is $20, and a paddle of 12 beers is $60
Right on our doorstep! The brewery is very conveniently 400m from our property, so we would encourage you to finish here. This enables you to stay on for the evening and walk back to your campsite.
Foghorn Brewery at the Mighty Hotel is a true gem for beer lovers. This brewery, which is housed within the historic walls of the Tavern, offers a cozy and rustic atmosphere that adds to its appeal. The brewery is known for its focus on using high-quality, locally-sourced ingredients and traditional brewing techniques to create unique and flavorful beers.
Tours cost $20pp and you will learn about how the beers are made. The tour includes a taste of 3 x 200mL of beer and takes approximately 30 – 45 minutes. Tours run 5pm every Friday, 12 noon and 5pm every Saturday. Other days and times can be accommodated by appointment subject to minimum numbers and staff availability.
Ironbark Hill and 4 Pines do not require bookings, but we would encourage you to book at all venues to avoid disappointment.
